Note: | There is no information for this song in the songbook where it was identified, but there are many references to it. There is a 1925 Jack Gardener tune called “I’m a little prairie flower (I’m wild, I’m wild)”. There is also a stanza in a poem titled “Prairie Flower” in a book called “Paradology” by E. O. Harbin published in 1927. All of this was also referenced in a 1937 song “I’m a Little Prarie Flower” sung by Elsie Carlisle. |
